Sponsor - Energy Conservation Insulation

Energy Conservation Insulation has over 40 years of combined insulation experience, as well as extensive knowledge of energy conservation techniques. No matter what the project is, from a remodel to building a custom eco-friendly home, we have the products and the knowledge to answer all of your insulation needs.

Our fiberglass installation team has over 40 years of combined experience. With this much knowledge and field experience, you can be rest assured they know what it takes to get the job done accurately the first time.

All Knauf Insulation products are sustainable, but EcoBatt® Glasswool Insulation with ECOSE® Technology takes that standard to a whole new level. ECOSE Technology is a revolutionary, more sustainable binder based on rapidly renewable bio-based materials. Combine ECOSE Technology with sand—one of the world’s most abundant resources—and a minimum 60% post-consumer recycled bottle glass and the result is Knauf Insulation’s EcoBatt Insulation.

The Blow-In Blanket® system or the BIBS® system is a proven, state-of-the-art insulation system utilizing specially manufactured fiberglass blowing wools installed in the walls, floors, attics, or ceilings behind a proprietary fabric. The system forms a seamless blanket of insulation that completely fills around pipes, wires, and other objects inside the cavity to maximize thermal efficiency and performance of the building envelope. The BIBS system provides with the highest attainable R-values available today.

UltraTouch is made from high-quality natural fibers. These fibers contain inherent qualities that provide for extremely effective sound absorption and maximum thermal performance. UltraTouch has No Fiberglass Itch and is easy to handle and work with. UltraTouch contains no chemical irritants and requires no warning labels compared to other traditional products. There are no VOC concerns when using UltraTouch, as it is safe for you and the environment

Insulate to save energy An energy efficient house is a better home. With Roxul Comfort Batt ® insulation, it’s also a more comfortable living environment for you and your family. Roxul Comfort Batt helps keep the outside outside, to keep your home warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. That also translates into reduced heating and air conditioning costs – and a house that is easier on the environment. R-value is the measurement of an insulation’s ability to prevent heat flow. The higher the R-value, the more insulating power it provides. Roxul Comfort Batt is available in R15 and R23 to deliver top thermal performance. Additionally, while moisture significantly reduces the R-value of many other popular insulation materials, Roxul Comfort Batt does not store or transfer moisture so the R-value you install will remain the same year after year.

Our spray foam team, coming from over 12 years experience of working with foam products, we know the building codes, and the ins and outs of what it takes to put the right product just where it needs to be so you can benefit the most from the application without spending the most.  We offer open cell spray foam and closed cell spray foam

ECI prides itself in being a leader in insulation techniques and applications, as well as our World Class Service we provide to our clients. We are passionate about providing our clients with the very best, eco-friendly products that are available today as well as providing years of experience to be able to provide a solution to fit any project no matter how big or small.

ECI offers Home Performance Test. A High performance house will  make your home comfortable. The overall goal is to have a high performance home.  There are four elements to a high performance home: 1) Heat Flow 2) Air flow and air pressure 3) Moisture 4) Air quality and Air safety.  If all four of these items are addressed the resulting home will be an efficient home.

Our staff is certified by Bonneville Power Authority BPA as PTCS or Performance Tested Comfort Systems. This is a fancy way of saying we have the equipment to measure how much air is leaking out of the home that you paid to heat or cool. According to the US Department of Energy, roughly 20 to 30 percent of the air in the ducts never makes it to the intended rooms.  ECI is here to help resolve those issues.

Weatherization is the process of protecting a building and its interior from the elements, such as precipitation, wind, and sunlight, and modifying a structure to optimize energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption. While Insulation is used in the weatherization process, and weatherization is needed to do proper insulation, they are not the same thing. The focus of insulation is to reduce the conductive heat flow while weatherization primarily reduces convective heat flow.  At ECI we offer both insulation and full weatherization services to Central Oregon.
