Welcome to the Madras Oregon VFW Auxiliary Post 12141

Our organization is comprised of members from all walks of life with a common connection: all are relatives of those who served in overseas combat. The Auxiliary is comprised of family members of veterans who have or is currently serving in a Foreign War. We assist with helping veteran's along side with our VFW Post.

When you join the VFW Auxiliary, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Support Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members and Their Families
The VFW Auxiliary offers numerous avenues for service, such as hospital volunteering, the adoption of military units and promoting patriotism. Anyone with a heart for veterans can count their membership as an important way to stand with veterans and the military community on Capitol Hill and in local legislative battles affecting them.
Develop New Skills
The VFW Auxiliary offers numerous ways for members to acquire and utilize skills such as leadership, public speaking, fundraising, event planning and community outreach.
Network and Develop Friendships
Through local and national events, members have the chance to meet people from all walks of life and many career backgrounds, creating a vast network of people who are passionate about veterans, active-duty service members, and their families.

Annual membership fee is $40 the first year $35 the following years.
Lifetime Membership fee is a one time payment.(See fee chart below)

Current Membership Renewal

We are excited to announce that current members now have the ability to renew their annual fee online. This feature is only for current members, New members CAN NOT use this feature.

Eligibility Requirements for the VFW Auxiliary Membership:

Members must be citizens of the United States or a United States National, and at least 16 years old.

Those eligible are:

Husband/Wife
Widower/Widow
Father/Mother
Grandfathers/Grandmothers
Sons/Daughters
Grandsons/Granddaughters
Brothers/Sisters

Of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.

Those eligible for membership in the VFW are those that have received a campaign medal for overseas service; have served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea; or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay. Click here for more information.

Step- and adopted parents, children, siblings (and half-siblings), grandparents and grandchildren are considered the same as biological parents, children, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren and may join the VFW Auxiliary under their VFW-eligible veteran.

Proof of service is required for eligibility and must be obtained by the applicant.

Our programs support our service members while they are on the front line, as they are being discharged and long after they return. Your tax-deductible donation will be immediately directed to the VFW programs where your support is most urgently needed.
